The lights turn on by pulling on them and then give off an atmospheric warm light. Moreover, the pull lights are equipped with a safe touch interface, so they do not get hot and can be safely touched even after 24 hours of constant use. The Grundig Retro lamp runs on 3 AAA batteries per lamp, these are not included.
