WEATHERPROOF PROTECTION

Door canopies are not only a decorative addition to a building but also a practical element of its equipment. They work well both in residential buildings and commercial premises. Canopies are most often installed above entrance doors, but they are also commonly used on balconies and terraces. Their purpose is to protect guests and household members from rain and sun, but that is not all. In some situations, an entrance canopy can also enhance safety. When snow overhangs or icicles fall from the roof, exterior door canopies can protect against impact or reduce its force.

FUNCTIONAL CONSTRUCTION

• The side elements supporting the entire structure are made of durable plastic, ensuring resistance to strong wind gusts.
• The canopy made of clear 0.5 cm thick multi-wall polycarbonate effectively protects against sunlight and precipitation. The proper slope and profiled shape allow for free drainage of water and snow, preventing excessive load on the canopy.

SECURE INSTALLATION ABOVE THE DOOR

The canopy should be installed using the included durable metal anchors. The 4-point mounting system ensures a strong and secure connection to the building wall. The set includes special metal anchors in three lengths:

• 6.5 cm
• 9.5 cm
• 24.5 cm

The different lengths allow installation depending on the mounting surface; longer anchors are suitable for insulated walls (e.g. with polystyrene), while shorter ones are intended for non-insulated walls.
